PRAYER REQUEST FROM SHAWNE
At present, John doesn’t have a good long distance plan on his phone, so if someone wants to connect by phone the call would have to be short: 250-884-5048. John just changed service providers so once I get the account all set up I’m going to work on having a long distance plan added.
John is also on Facebook, however he’s not really regular with it: Johannes Muller (facebook name)
He’s also on Skype which is how he and I connect everyday and it is the easiest for him to use ;0) : johannes.muller22
Lastly, he does have an email address: johannes_muller@hotmail.comI especially appreciate the support right now and thank all those who have been faithfully praying for John and our family. If anyone wishes to contact me my number at home is 250-995-1662.Thank you :0)

Whose Eyes?
by: Sheri Rypstra
Who is that face looking in the mirror? Whose eyes are starring back at me? There is a depth there, full of things I’d rather not see. Who is that face watching me? The eyes are of a stranger, Cold, dark, yet knowing. Analyzing, calculating, Seeing every weakness with an unyielding understanding. There’s no avoiding what’s hidden there. Whose face is that, studying me? I swear it’s some cold stranger: reminiscent of some other. I glance away to avoid the gaze, But there’s no running away from the knowledge found there. The knowledge stems from deep within. It may seem to be a stranger, And yet, It’s me! My own eyes look back at me!
Have you ever felt that way? A sudden insight and you realize you are not the person you thought you were? You’ve been walking down a stressful road, or through a dark valley and suddenly see negative traits in yourself you didn’t know existed? Perhaps they’re even ones you saw in your parents, and you swore to yourself that you would never be that way? You are not alone.
Through whose eyes do you see yourself? A critical neighbour, friend, relative, or self? The rose-tinted shades of self-denial? Or through God’s eyes? It’s true that God sees our faults and even requires us to acknowledge and confess them, but he also sees us as who we were made to be…as saints!
