Blessed Assurance

To determine if one is saved, a believer must look for evidence of genuine faith and a changed life, rather than relying solely on a past decision or feeling.  This involves a combination of belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, a confession of that belief, and a resulting transformation in one's thoughts, desires, and actions.
