Hebrews 1:1-3

While it's true that the Biblical narrative tells us a lot about the history and the perspective prophetically regarding the Christ child, the missing part is what was God’s perspective? We know what the shepherds thought; we know what the wise men thought; we know what Mary thought because she says so. We know what Zacharias is thinking because he defines all of that in his song of praise at the end of Luke 1. But the real question about the birth of Jesus Christ is God’s perspective. Let's go back through the epistles and the Old Testament and look at the birth of Christ from the divine perspective. Let's identify, not just a human baby in a manger, but the cosmic reality of who this child really was.
