The ascension of Christ is one of the most profound, yet often overlooked moments, in the life of our Lord. We tend to dwell, rightly, on the cross and the resurrection; however, the ascension of Christ is treated more as a footnote or an after thought. It is the crowning movement of Christ's eathly ministry and a decisive act for our salvation.
